Daub has been doing a brilliant collage. I thought I’ll record her at work as I’ve done so before. Hearing the visual artist using non-paint mediums makes me so aware of how different it is. We still use our sight to access this work but the kind of machination that has gone to produce it, is entirely different. In looking deeply at it we will probably see the difference but in listening to it the contrast is very clear. Listen to this or this and contrast it.
