Well it’s been more than a month of this aural pontification in this moderately silent medium of byte.
Anyhow the rather strange bonfire night celebrations started tonight. In England it is quite a strange one as it’s also known as Guy Fawkes night. Seems a bit odd to celebrate someone who represents a core of what society was meant to hate all those years ago. Rene Girard’s scapegoat comes to mind. But I’m too sleepy. Happy Diwali, Hannukah, Bonfiring and All Saints day. 🙂
