Last night I went and watched the amazing Snarky Puppy. With great groovy melding of styles and very full band it was a great experience. I recorded the whole gig just to hear whether there were any interesting sounds there. I wouldn’t want to do Snarky Puppy a disservice and put a bad recording of them here when there are so many good recordings of them out there. Further more that’s a misuse of copyright. I captured just a feel of what we as an audience felt. The audience was a brilliant mix of old and young, black, brown and white. And everyone enjoyed it. In the middle you can hear someone from the back shout ‘sick!’ and the whole crowd burst into laughter. These moments of oneness are special. Dangerous but special.
